In this consolidated accelerated appeal and original proceeding, Merrill Lynch Trust Company FSB, Merrill Lynch Life Insurance Company, and Henry Medina (collectively, relators) seek relief from the trial courts denial of their motion to compel arbitration. At issue here is whether, under agency principles and the doctrine of equitable estoppel, they can seek enforcement of an arbitration agreement contained in a contract to which they were not signatories. We dismiss the accelerated appeal and deny the petition for writ of mandamus.
